La Repubblica explains how to get the incentives

In an article published in the 'Green and Blue' section of La Repubblica, clarity is provided on how to move around in order to obtain the ecobonus incentives provided for different types of biomass plant.

In particular, the ecobonus is recognised for the types of biomass systems reserved for larger homes, such as real boilers that require installation in an ad hoc room, or for heating stoves that have the advantage of not only producing hot water for radiators, but also of directly heating rooms through ventilation fans. The bonus is also available for heating stoves, which combine the heating and cooking functions, as well as stoves and fireplaces for individual rooms.

There is a wide choice of products to buy, bearing in mind that there are various design models that can be combined with any type of furniture. Obligations regarding the efficiency of heat generators, types of fuel and limits on smoke emissions must be respected. Which we have already discussed here.

Instead of a deduction over ten years, you can opt for a discount on the invoice or the transfer of the credit. Alternatively, if you want to pay back the cost immediately, you can apply to the GSE for access to the Conto Termico, which allows you to obtain a 65% reimbursement of the cost directly by bank transfer.

In order to qualify for this rate of tax relief, the purchase must be intended to replace the entire winter air-conditioning system or a part of it in the case of a pre-existing system equipped with several heat generators (e.g. stoves in individual rooms).

On the other hand, five-star certification is required to obtain benefits in the case of the purchase of stoves or fireplaces to supplement an existing heating system. In this case, however, the tax rate is reduced to 50%. On the other hand, without having to file with Enea, you can opt for the 50% home bonus, which facilitates the installation of systems powered by renewable sources.
